Francine Migner was born in Montreal , Québec. She lives and works in Brossard, Québec and has a Bachelor degree in Visual Arts and Literature from Université de Montréal. She has participated in more than sixty group shows held in artists-run centers in Québec and Ontario , municipal galleries and cultural centers plus nine solo exhibitions. She is a professional member of Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec.
Here is a selection of her main exhibitions : International Biennial of Miniature art (printmaking); 1996-1998; Alfred-Pellan Hall, Laval, Québec (solo) 1995; Maison du Québec, Toronto, Ontario, 1994; the 350 th anniversary of the City of Montreal, held at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, 1992; Marc-Aurèle-Fortin Museum, 1991.
From 1995 to 1998, she was a member of the Brossard Advisory Committee for Arts and Culture and for the City of Longueuil in 2005. From 1999 to 2001, she was president of the artists' run center Praxis art actuel.
Her work is part of a number of public and corporate collections and many private collections in Canada and internationally.
From 1997 to 2005, she participated in the Quebec Government's program Artists at school. She thus visited many primary and secondary schools throughout Quebec with her personal projects. She also participated in numerous public events as a creator.
