Francine Migner has a Bachelor's degree in humanities from Université de Montréal. She started painting in 1984 and began attending several printing studios in Montreal where she learned monotype techniques before studying lithography, etching, and black and white photography.
For the last ten years, the artist has been exploring installation and has taken part in numerous solo and
group exhibitions. She has also hosted several art workshops in schools.
Since 1996, over a dozen schools within the Montérégie region as well as Black Lake, Rouyn-Noranda and Montréal have invited the artist to lead educational art workshops in their schools.
Within the framework of the event Passart/Passage l'an 2000 at Rouyn-Noranda, in May 2000, she created a collective installation with all the students in the primary school. The installation called EN MARCHE VERS LE FUTUR was on display at the Centre d'exposition de Rouyn-Noranda in September 2000.
